Community Questions - Sopphi

Welcome back to another article in our Assassin's Creed Community Questions series. Made up of interviews with Assassins based around the world

This week, we are joined by Sopphi! Who joined our Assassin's Creed Partnership Program in September 2026 as a member of the Video Content Creation Team and is based in the United Kingdom.

Col: Hi Sopphi, thank you for joining me for this interview. Please could you tell us a little bit about yourself and your role within the Assassin's Creed Community.

Sopphi: Hiya I’m Soph, someone who has somehow managed to turn my childhood obsession of Assassin’s Creed into a completely unreasonable amount of my personality. I studied Classics and Ancient History at university and later worked as an Archaeologist, which was fueled by Assassin’s Creed and my love of history within gaming.

Col: In August 2026, you joined The Ones Who Came Before's Assassin's Creed Partnership Program, known as the Isu_Network. Are you excited to work alongside the Video Content Creation Team?

Sopphi: I’m very excited to join the team and start creating content, especially within the video team. It's good to be part of a team open to sharing ideas!

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Do you have a favourite piece of content?

Sopphi: Oh this is hard to pick. I’d probably say the ‘On this Day’ types of content as I love learning new things.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: How excited are you for the future of Assassin's Creed?

Sopphi: I’m always pretty excited for the future of Assassin’s Creed. I’m really looking forward to Hexe because there’s still so much mystery surrounding it, which obviously means the community has been having an absolute field day with theories. I wish they’d bring back a stronger sci-fi/modern storyline back into the game to be honest, but I’m always hopeful.

Col: Which Assassin's Creed game have you been playing recently, and which game are you playing next?

Sopphi: Naturally I’ve been playing a lot of AC Black Flag Resynced recently, but I’ve also restarted Odyssey for about the 10th time too!

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Have you visited any of the locations from the games?

Sopphi: Yes! When I was in Rome there were a lot of ‘I’ve climbed that’ moments. As well the mainland cities in Greece. I would love to visit Istanbul and Egypt too!

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Which Assassin's Creed game is your favourite and why?

Sopphi: Assassin’s Creed Revelations is my favourite, without a doubt. I love the combination of Ezio and Altair’s stories and I think the setting of Constantinople, the music and the general feeling of reaching the ending of two iconic story arcs cannot be beaten in my opinion.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Have you attended any events within the Assassin's Creed Community?

Sopphi: I’ve attended gaming events in the past, but never an AC community event. I would love to though, I think meeting people who love the same things as you and creating real life connections is the best part of being online.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Do you have a favourite Assassin's Creed community moment/ story you would like to share?

Sopphi: I think it's between the release of AC Revelations and seeing that amazing gameplay trailer and how excited everyone was OR the announcement of Black Flag Resynced and seeing everyone excited to return to a very beloved game and character.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: What would be your dream setting for the upcoming AC Netflix TV show or future game?

Sopphi: I’d like to see somewhere completely new historically. To be honest, I’m not a massive fan of the more modern settings in games. It would be great to see a Mayan or Aztec game. Or even a game set in the Roman Empire (but not take place in Italy).

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Do you have any personal AC goals you would like to achieve?

Sopphi: I’d love to work on more AC projects going forward, I really want to start a historical deep dive series so that would be my biggest goal.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: What would you say is your most significant community achievement to date?

Sopphi: Potentially being accepted into the Ubisoft Creator Programme as this was a big milestone for me for so many years. But honestly it's also building a community of people who enjoy talking about my special interests like AC with me (or at least listening to me go on about them!)

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: What is your favourite part of being a community member?

Sopphi: The people and the theories. I think AC brings people together to discuss a range of things, and share opinions which people may not always agree on but it's that investment and involvement in the game which makes it fun and exciting.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Do you collect AC merchandise? If so, what is your favourite item?

Sopphi: I do, I have every physical copy of the games, all of the books, an Ezio plushie and a few AC insignia throughout my room. I would love to collect more and I’m in the process of finding more things to fill my gaming room. Although my bank account may disagree with that.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: What advice do you have for people looking to get into content creation, in particular, video editing and recording?

Sopphi: It's hard. Not to start on a negative but it's so much harder than people realize. You have to ideate, plan, script, film, gather content, edit, post and be social almost 24/7. Use whatever equipment you have, you don’t need the flashy gadgets at the start. Don’t be afraid of making bad videos or mistakes, that's the best way to test and learn.

________________________________________________________________________________________

Col: Where can our community members find you online?

Sopphi: You can find me on all the platforms as @Sopphiasco I share all of my content and links across my socials so there are plenty of places to come and chat to me about AC or any other games!
