Requiescat In Pace

Coming in at spot number one this week, is an awesome looking shot by Instagram AC photographer @assassinscreed_shots.

In this one we see Eïvor from above with his hidden blade, seconds before dealing the killing strike to one of his enemies. Not too much to sat about this one really, other than there is a certain epic and cinematic vibe to this picture, which makes the cool enough to make the top of the list.

Welcome back to another weekly virtual photography showcase, hosted by Gustav Poulsen from The AC Partnership Program.

Each week, five Assassin's Creed shots will be hosted here on TOWCB website in order to promote virtual photography and community contributions.

Gustav is a seasoned pro when it comes to virtual photography, and has a keen eye for special shots.

Northern Lights

Second last picture on this week’s list is a shot by Instagram user @assassinscreed_odyssey.

In this epic looking capture we see Eïvor between two cliffs, making his way through the cold snow filled mountains of the North in the night. Guiding him is the vibrant, majestic and massive rays of northern lights.

The fact that Eïvor is relatively distant and not up front, somehow adds to the feeling of the scenario showcased in the capture; that Eïvor has a long way ahead of him…

Rainbow Road, But Viking

At the second spot on this week’s list, we have a capture by Instagram user @lanescaptures.

In this shot we see what happens when a viking does one dose too many of hallucinogenics… As Eïvor is suddenly riding a big and majestic elk across the Bifrost, the gate to Asgard; mythical home of the Norse gods. Colourwise this capture has a bit of everything. In one spot we see nothing but warm rainbow colours, and at another spot we see dry, cold and grey colours; nice balance!

Finally, the photographer has nicely paid attention to the depth of field. Focused on in the front is Eïvor, as the mountains are being blurred out in the background.

Welcome To Asgard

For this week’s third capture, is yet another beautiful capture of Eïvor riding across the Bifrost entering Asgard. This one taken by Instagram user @ana.kandrose. This shot however focuses on showcasing the pure beauty, lighting and vibrant colors of the mythical world, leaving grey mountains, clouds etc. behind.

Additionally, we see Eïvor riding towards Odin’s Palace, and behind that we see the massive and majestic tree of the worlds; Yggdrasil. As a finishing touch, soaring above it all are some beautiful northern lights. Shortly described, this capture showcases all the essential beauty of Asgard, and crams it into just one picture.

Old Roman Structures

And coming in at the fifth and final spot on the list, is a landscape shot by Instagram user @aquilaassassin.

This shot captures not only a beautiful blue sky, the sunlight and Northern highlands, but most significantly some old Roman statues and other structures, left behind by former colonists; It’s always great to see different styles of architecture in one location!

As mentioned, on top of showcasing the Roman statues, the photographer also managed to capture the sun lighting just right, all bright and beautiful as it illuminates the seen landscape.
